The place where the territory is closest to human activity. It is incredibly dangerous to try and brave the area - but there are many who have tried and succeeded. Scrawny hares, mice, and the occasional wild cat can be encountered here, as well as squirrels and deer.

Walks across path "no wolves around yet? i feel a scent track. i must be close to them." she said. This harsh loner didn't care for anyone anyways. it started snowing. looking around, she thought it was good to get some contacts inside the pack before a storm started or the place got dangerous. it was for the best, she had too. she was too young and couln't survive that harsh enviroment, even more harsh than her. walking calmly, she hit the pack borders. time to socialize and greet her new leader. the travel to her new home was over.
